Little Moab - Monday Adventure!

We went out to Little Moab for a few hours of fun yesterday, it was such a blast! We took my dad's JK and my XJ. (This was my first time out here in the XJ, the JK hasn't been out since it was pretty much stock on 33s.)

Following my dad up into the rocks -

My dad hitting up the first obstacle -

JK Flex..

My turn! (Mud caked BFGs...)

Bump it!

= This.. (I ripped off my shock mount and bent the shock)

Backing out of there..

While the XJ was down my dad decided to pose his JK

And then get stuck...

See, high-centered

More images on the way - I'm limited to 14 a post

Re: Little Moab - Monday Adventure!

After getting him off his belly with my pro fat man skills I played with my RC

We stopped for lunch and I pulled out the toolbag (That's my dad by the back of my XJ)

Trail Fix -

Victorious! It flexes better with 3 shocks, right?

The XJ is back in action!

I'm happy to be driving again!

Following my dad up the back-side of Little Moab

My cousin driving the JK down a ledge

From the front

My turn to go down! Let's hope my BFGs can hold the line

Nope... My rock-sliders gave the rock a high-five!

Time to head over to the really steep stuff I saw rock-buggies doing last time I was here!

Going up!

Re: Little Moab - Monday Adventure!

To sit on my drop brackets...

Alright, let's try a different obstacle!

Getting up the first hump

Not being able to move past the first hump...

Try a different line!

Nope... Back up and head over to a different obstacle

If I didn't make it up the others why am I trying a steeper one?...

Denied.. I'll head over to the main face, the buggy playground is a bit steep..

Everybody is shouting 'You finally did something!!'...

Lining up on the next one

Bumpin' it!

I'm up! Now I'm heading over to the climb up to the top..

But then my mother called and told us it's time to come home.. Silly AT&T, why did you give us service in the middle of nowhere?!?

Re: Little Moab - Monday Adventure!

Heading down off the rocks

One last little loop while my dad packs up and straps down his cargo

I guess I'll hit every mud puddle on the way out!

Mud holes eat fog lights...

We made it home!

I learned a few things -

- Don't cake your tires with mud before you hit the rocks!
- I need to disconnect my swaybar
- Lockers really really help (I need some!)

Overall it was an awesome day and I can't wait to go back!!

Hey, those Jeeps look familiar. Do you guys live in Spring Creek? I love your jeeps. I have a gray 01 on 32s over on Meadow Marsh.

Yeah, we do. I've seen your Jeep, it's pretty sweet! We should go wheeling together sometime! My Jeep is still coated in mud, you can look at it if you drive by my house

Re: Little Moab - Monday Adventure!

Love to go with you guys. You guys seem a bit more hard core hardcore than me, and I'm more of your dad's generation, but I'm always up to go explore.

Re: Little Moab - Monday Adventure!

How built up is your Jeep? All I know is that it's lifted 4ish inches and you're running on 32s - That's all mine has (Well, rock sliders too) and I make my way around just fine. Technically I have an LSD in the rear but it's so worn out that it's basically open.

We like to go to Five Mile Pass too, have you ever been out there? It's a blast! Plus, it's easy trail stuff, my cousin brought his pretty much stock Nissan Pathfinder up everything we did out there.

We still need to find the more hard-core stuff out there like the Constrictor, we've only ever been up Rattlesnake - maybe another member can be our tour guide.
