Well.
I've got a 1989 XJ that was a stock 4.0 with the puegot 2wd 5spd, and since then I've converted it to a 4x4 puegot tranny with a 231 t case..
I've got a nice setup, but I'm very curious in what I'll need to change.. I've got a 3" lift in the jeep.. and I'd like to swap to a AW4 tranny.. I've got a transmission out of a donor jeep and I've got pretty much all the little doo dads that I figure I'll need in order to hook it up.. I'm wondering if anyone has done this swap and could tell me a little bit more in depth information on this swap.. I'm very interested if it's not ridiculous.
