Engel fridge in XJ

I finally bit the bullet and ordered a 45l Engel fridge for my XJ. I´m thinking about a storage platform from the very rear to the front seats and about mounting the fridge to that platform.

Has anybody mounted such a fridge in an XJ? If so - post some pics please...

Jan, i dont have pics but i recently picked up a 45L. It's tall, and with it sitting behind the drivers seat with the rear seat folded down i have just enough room to open the lid and get contents from inside.

If your looking to add a platform you'll need to either rework the hinge to open sideways or add a slide where the unit comes out from the hatch area and has sufficient room overhead.

A bud had two of them, if it werent for buying used i wouldnt have it yet.
