We bought this tent in 2005 and used it that one summer. We traveled about 8,000 miles across the U.S. with our two daughters, ages 5 and 7 (at the time). We mounted the tent on our Jeep Cherokee and went literally anywhere and everywhere.
The tent sets up in less than 3 minutes and as a family of four, this was perfect for us...we didn't want any kind of big RV as we stayed in the most primitive campsites we could find. We were off the ground, slept on a king size mattress and were always level. No more ground tents for us!
This setup is perfect for a family who wants to be more comfortable than a ground tent and wants to be mobile.
Brand new this tent is $1,900 plus shipping. We are selling for $1,200. We have decided to upgrade to a truck camper as the girls are bigger and we are spending six weeks on the road this time.
