Canyon de Chelly, Labor Day weekend

Anybody interested driving in the canyon and willing to share the cost of a Navajo guide? I am guessing it could be up to $100 per vehicle for a full day's tour, maybe more if we want to camp inside the Monument. The campground right outside canyon is free, first come, first served and would be a great base camp for day tripping. Once I have an idea of how many parties are interested I will call around and nail down a guide and price.

If you have been there and have any suggestions I am all ears.

There is a thread about it in the Az chapter.

I thought about putting a small group together from both the Az chapter and the IC chapter but it wouldn't be till next year sometime.

It's on my short list of short lists of places I have to go.
