So if you guys didnt notice we donated 500$ to RTF back in december, and 500$ to BRC back in december.

We also donated a cordless mikwaukee fuel rotohammer at the January RTF BOD meeting to help with work on the property, specifically work on marking the new trail - that we will be helping with in June as we drill into the granite to install trail markers.

For note to all as well, today we received the $2,000 NAXJA National Land Use grant money and it is deposited in our Sierra Chapter account!

This additional $2,000 will go towards upcoming work projects this summer, including the June RTF work day - thank you National BOD for approving!!

Heck yeh! That's awesome.

Yes that is awesome, so we will be donating 4000$ in total to RTF this year.

Actually if you count the 500$ in December, and the 320$ for the rotohammer, we will be donating 4820$.

You folks in Sierra chapter are doing great work, and should be commended!

Thanks David , its so good to hear that , we have been working on larger cash donations by increasing the raffle prizes and promoting the raffles and the events more and more and also working really hard to work with RTF and Stanislaus NF on hermit valley.

In addition to a bunch of work days on the Rubicon this summer, We will be building a NAXJA "Spot" on the RTF property, so all NAXJA chapters will always have a spot on the Rubicon (even if El dorado shuts the forest down like last year since RTF is private property you can still camp there)

We more than likely will still be doing a work day at Hermit valley as well once things get figured out there.
