Lights Stay On

Hi, everyone. Been gone for a while, but its good to be back.

For a while my 96 'kee (AW4, 4.0) has had the prob with the hazard lights not shutting off. They act as if the headlight knob is pulled out one click, even when its not and the key is removed.

Ive had to disconnect my battery every time ive left the heep, and Im gettiong tired of it. I assume its a short somewhere, because it started as a sometimes they stay on, sometimes no, type of thing.

Any ideas where I should start looking?
