I think Grant was wanting to do this and was working towards cranking it up, but he is getting busy with his racing. If he doesn't want to do it, I can put some serious effort and resources towards a Colorado/Mountain States , but I don't want to step on any toes if there were others who have been working on this. I know that Grant is planning on working the event this summer. All I want is to get things going and will simply help in the background if that is what it takes, but if more is needed, I can do what ever is necessary.

AHA, so you admit you are poaching our members from east of the Continental Divide.
It was a joke, Tom. Do we need to go get a couple of beers?
I was halfway thinking of joining the intermountain chapter, anyway. That way I could webwheel Moab all the time.

Yep, when you finally make it to Moab this October I'll buy you a couple.

I hope, the piece of junk barely made it to Castle Rock last week. If I get a job so I can afford to fix it, probably won't be able to get the time off. It's a dilemma.

Besides, I think I want to go to Bonnaroo.

This subject has come up a couple times previously. I am keen to see a chapter be formed. Colorado Chapter is fine with me, but what about the WY boys? Cheyenne is a lot closer to Denver than to SLC.

I have a hectic race and rally season in 2004, so I will give the chapter efforts my full support, however, I have very little time to contribute this year. I will help anyone who wants the job. Tom, JJ, Fred, YellaHeep, Crunch,- where is Nay? Led?

Wy-orado?

Color-ing Chapter (bring your own crayolas)

About time you guys got organized under a banner.

...and since most of my wheeling the last couple of decades outside of the Northeast has been between the Front Range and the Escalante, I expect an honorary membership invitation when you get rolling. (My Intermountain one must have gotten lost in the mail, Jeffy!)

I am sitting back watching the people who tar and feathered me in public for suggesting...god forbid...that the CO-XJ list consider becoming a club...now talking about becoming a club.

Of course we should.

I have no time for anything, but I'll do what I can.

I'd like to see it stick to the Rocky Mountain format... I'm in Northern New Mexico, but would gladly attend events in CO. (We do have a few decent trails down here as well... ;-)

I've actually let my membership lapse because I wasn't doing anything with it, but some localized activity might get me more involved.
