If I had the money, it'd be in my Nissan.....small diesel in a small truck? Super high mpg, plus loads of torque. That and the frame ought to be more apt to support the 785 lbs than the unibody of my XJ.

1986 4x4 cherokee 1495 cash. The craigs post says 4x4, the options listed says 2wheel. A couple of pics included in the post. Not bad looking and its only got 119k (who knows)

1989 jeep pioneer, Runs/ needs TLC - $600 (La Habra)

I have a 1989 jeep cherokee for sale. Has a v6, 4wd train, engine is only about 40,000 miles old, 180,000 on the frame. It runs well but is in need of some tlc. Only one thing needs to be replace and that is the plastic coolant container ( about $50) with that it should run just fine. It has a little stalling problem but machanic said it was a dirty fuel injector. Not needing to be replaced right away, just eventually. Stock radio (works) but AC doesn't work. Driver side window doesn't roll down but the rest do (need to rewire the control in the door, should be an easy/ cheap job). Needs new tags and title."
