P1391 code

2001 xj engine rebuilt comp cam. I had the code show up after new motor now I have tried just about everything new cam and crank sensors new coil pack new fuel pump. Used a drm 3 scan tool it said they are in sync but randomly the jeep will not start

Did you use Mopar sensors? On my 2000 it was the cam sensor that caused what you describe.

I had replaced the whole synchronizer then I put the factory one back after the code to try

When it decides not to start every once in awhile it will pop through the intake but if a leave the key on until all the lights are out about 95 % of the time it will fire right up
