What's the down side, Threaded Body Air Shock???

I found myself a screaming deal on a custom full float shaved RR 60 & am ditching the rear 44. At the same time I'm going to link it up, but that also means I'll have to suspend the rear somehow. My heads spinning after reading everything I could on coil overs & air shocks & have found myself going back to & looking at Rock Equipments new air shocks with threaded body's. Seems like this would be the best of both worlds..., air shock cheap yet coil compatible if needed later on. Is there a downside to going this route? My feelings are, if I just can't get the air shock to work the way I'd like than I could "upgrade" them later & throw on some coils. Am I missing something?
