Desert BBQ campout

great time with great friends. pretty much everyone seen something new this trip. we started by going from camp up sunrise hill and down sunset hill to the mercur cemetery. then from there we went through whats left of west mercur. then after a short jont down the pavement we made our way up the narrow rd to jacob city.

that was saturday. some of us camped out for the night, and after the ones that needed to head home in the morning left, i took chris up to overlook the barrick-mercur mine(or whats left of it)

all in all it was a blast. the BBQ was great thanks to our VP for cooking the tri tips. all i can say is if you didn't make it you really missed out.

Sounds like fun. What did you clean up? I thought it was a clean up as well. Looks like I would have had more fun with you guys than my other commitments that I had.

We did some cleanup around the cemetary and around our campsite. I was running really late and didn't get out there until 11 or so.

We also scouted out our proposed public lands day project on the way to Jacob's City. We could easily fill a dozen rolloff dumpsters out there.
