Aug chapter trail run

That hurt israel......that hurt bad.....are you saying i'm hard on my jeep? :D

FIFY.

10 years and many many many hard trails and I have yet to break anything on a D30...other than a ring gear when I was being stupid trying to yank someone out in reverse.

I'd like to do this trail, just to say it could be done on 33's without body damage. Of course saying that I would be the one to roll...and brake a 30 shaft. :D

So we going to see your there Ryan? It is a great trail. But I have already proven that it can be done without body damage. It was one time out of the two that I ran it with 33s. I have run it 3 times with a Dana 30 and only had to replace one u-joint on those trips.

ok, well i'm planning on going out the top right now. and is their names the hares or members of bush eaters? :)

kevin did it, including a big wheelie with no issues on his 30 :laugh3:

The money run is at 0:45. It is shocking that nothing broke on that landing :D. If I make this run as I plan to, winching here is likely for me if it is that slippery. And if I understand correctly, it is always at least that slippery
Nice run, Kevin!

Thanks, I was surprised to. I think I may have bent the housing some but never did find that out and it was not super obvious if I did. It is always slick but this year this is not much water coming down it so it is not as slippery as the video showed. In that video it was very wet and slick. I was surprised I made it up. I made it this year once already on just my second attempt. This obstacle is all about power and tires. Unless you have stickies than it is just about tires. I watch a few people crawl it on my last trip.

I am increasingly thinking that even if I do not have the money to come, I am putting the gas on credit and coming anyway! And hopefully I don't break anything expensive.

Looking forward to it!

For those that are not camping friday night MAKE sure you meet at the maverick in ephraim no later then 8:30. Kmboren is going to be kind enough to lead you to where we'll be camped.

Here's where the maverick is, it's the only one in town http://goo.gl/maps/Fbz3G

I am out guys, Sorry. I just got home from two long days of cutting wood and am beat. If you do not know how to get there this should help.
Or if you have Derecks number you can call him. I do not have it so can't let him know. If someone wants to give it to me I will call him.

This is more or less it. Keep going up the canyon to the right where this road ends and you will find them. Sorry and good luck and have fun. Sorry I am going to miss it.

That sucks, everyone can meet devil and jared then. 2 xjs on a trailer a white and red one

I'll head down there in the morning and see if I can find the Maverick, as your original site was east of Ephraim, and the Google Map above is west of town. I printed both, and am trying to find the coordinates which shouldn't be too hard so I can program a GPS with it.

The coordinates Lat and Long for the endpoint on the map above are:
39 degrees, 23 minutes, 19.87 seconds North
110 degrees, 40 minutes, 44.97 seconds West.
Hope to make, "Lord willin' an' the creek don' rise."
