The next scheduled workdays are May 14th and 15th on 2N49 and 2N04, respectively.

Come on out to help us get some work done and have a good time. Remember, volunteer work keeps trails open. If we don't maintain our trails they will end up closed out from under us.

What do I need?
Any vehicle that can do a USFS-rated moderate trail (Stock XJ, okay). 2WD XJ is normally acceptable with front tow points.

Bring gloves, a hat, and loppers. Please bring light long sleeve shirts for brush work. Closed toe shoes mandatory. Hard hats may be available but if you have your own please bring it. In tick-areas it is best to cover as much skin as possible.

Please RSVP if you plan to attend so we can plan. Please state which days you will be doing the maintenance, whether you are camping, and which meeting point you plan to use for Sunday. Depending on participation levels I may provide lunch one or both days.

Thank you for your time, it is appreciated.

Is it gonna snow?

I really do wish I could be there. It really is quite a bit of fun to work on the trails, even if I'm not authorized to use the chain saw, my favorite home remodeling tool.

Someone win me the lottery, so I can fly out for the weekend, please.

Are you going to camp?

Yes.

Based on the turnout for the 2N04 work day with the number of people already there for SoCal Fest I figure you're going to need the help.

If I can get my rig squared away, smogged, and registered, I'll be there. Unlikely, but possible.

I'm in Sunday for sure. Might be able to camp Saturday night depending on if I get the RTT back on the rig. I'll have the wife and kids with me.

I'll be making simple burgers for lunch on Sunday. Please check in with how many people you've got in your party.

Ryan - Have you decided whether you'll be camping Saturday night? FYI the location we're in in ground tent friendly, we've got the work center building right next door with bathroom, shower, and microwave.

Sunday's lunch is in the fridge.

The rental puppy and I have made it to North Shore and set my camp. First arrival gets the best spot. :D AAT on 2N49 tomorrow then my wife will bring my kids up in the afternoon to drop them off to camp with us and get them to do some work on 2N04 on Sunday.
