Exhaust manifold kit gaskets (pic), is doughnut ok?
Here's a picture of the gaskets that are coming with the exhaust manifold kits as compared to OEM.
https://imgbox.com/9MyUf22P I ordered a remfex although the included gasket looks pretty thick. Has anyone had success with the included exhaust flange donut? Or should that be swapped out as well? It appears as though the OEM has some type of composite in between the wire however the Fel-Pro seems to be very similar to this Construction. Is there one that works best or is this not such critical area? |

Re: Exhaust manifold kit gaskets (pic), is doughnut ok?
That donut looks like trash, but maybe it's just the angle of the picture. I have rarely had issues with honestly any brand donut so long as it's tightened down properly and your exhaust doesn't flex too much.
