P0122 before and after tps replacement

Genuine Jeep TPS or some junk made by Chinese children that has a "Lifetime Warranty" ?

A TPS the PCM/ECU cannot "see" is the same as one that is faulty. Physically, visually, and by volts/ohms multi-meter inspect and test the wire harness and wire plugs for damage/corrosion and failed wire splices.

Possible causes

- Faulty throttle position sensor
- Throttle position sensor harness is open circuit or shorted circuit
- Throttle position sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

Replaced tps because I had a p0122 and was tested bad by .5 volts. Still have code and the ecu sees tps response via obd port. Any ideas?

Year and engine size?

2000 with a stroker 4.0 (4.6). I tested the sensor and it tested fine on volts and ohms. I drove it for about an hour after I cleared the code and it hasn't come back. Iv also had the o2 sensor high voltage since the tps code and it's still here. On a side note when I did a 100 mile trip on the intestate it averaged about 15.7 mpg at 80-90.
