my xj cherokee is a july built 1994, chasing another fault i thought i would check the fuel pressure, so an OBD1 fuel rail has the pressure regulator at the front end.
from memory it should be 31psi at idle and 41 when running.
so i connected the gauge let the pump prime, ign on motor not running and i have 33 psi, start the motor and still 33 psi, rev it up and the pressure rises, disconnect the vac line and 41 psi.
