hey
quick question--
any idea how many amps the OEM alternator (supposed to be a 117 amp alternator as per factory specs) puts out at idle?
i dont have an amp meter so I can only guess really.
The reason I'm asking is because I just replaced all of my small, crayy OEM battery/power cables with NEW marine grade (tinned) 2/0 and 4 AWG cables.
So in theory I should have some more juice available, but when i start trning on accessories and turn the fan all the way up, the volts still dive! argh!
just curious---maybe il end up getting the beefed up alternator sooner then i think
trev
EDIT: i re-did all the grounds--everything
basically i did this:
