Ok, I’ve searched a few times. I seem to have a combination of things.

CEL lit. Code is P0123 TPS High Voltage.

Replaced TPS with Advanced Auto part. CEL still lit.

Checked Clock Spring, all paths ring good from connector to connector.

Replaced TPS with Mopar original. CEL still lit.

Cruise Control does not work.

CPS is listed as possible, but not experience any starting problems.

Ideas? Fixes?

If the PCM has difficulty getting good TPS data, it does not know if the sensor or the wring is the root cause. Inspect the wire plugs for damage, corrosion, and pushed back wire plug pins. Inspect the related wire harnesses for damaged wires, chafed or melted wire insulation, and failed wire splices. Make sure ALL of the engine compartment ground connections are clean and tight.

Unplug the horn relay to test for clock spring/TPS issues.

P0123 JEEP - Throttle Position Sensor/

Possible causes

•Faulty throttle position sensor
•Throttle position sensor harness is open or shorted
•Throttle position sensor circuit poor electrical connection
