Christmas Tree Run at Goat Mtn - 12/12/10

I had to leave a little early but I figured I'd get the pictures started. It was great to run with you guys again, I look forward to the next run!

wet, cold, windy
two zj's lost beads at the same time
someone's track bar came off
children were attacked by christmas trees
almost everyone managed to get at least one leg shin deep in a puddle
huge turn out
lots of fun
declared "not the greatest christmas tree run ever"
I had a great time, it was good seeing everybody
 
lol, yeah that about sums it up! I look forward to it next year! My fam had a great time and they'll definitely have something to talk about at school. The turn out was great too, I was thinking maybe 5-8 rigs, but there were about double.
 
I only have last year to compare so not real fair comparison. Just as good of turn out if not better then last year. Took a different route this year. The Best Christmas tree run? Dont know. Was it good, great, and fun Hell yeah.

Who needs track bars,I didn't even notice it came off till I was parked at the top.

We had a good time and it was great to hang out with everybody.
 
It was a great day.

There was a huge turnout.
The snow cooperated with us.
The weather was semi-decent.
There was actually a view from the towers.
Subaru's out wheeled our trail leader.
Scott still remains "that guy."

I'll look at my pictures in a bit, and try and get a few posted tonight.

Ya.... great turn out. I had a lot of fun and we convenced my buddy to buy an xj. He had a blast too. The oba system really came in handy. :) and hey I wasn't at the back of the line this time. Woo-hoo

"That guy" Had fun!


Thanks to all of you that made it out today.. (Even if this is the only event you go to annually), You're appearance to events like this are what make them so great. I dont know who the guy in the Powerstroke was, but his attitude was awesome..


Some of you may of noticed on the way home..me and the black ZJ were drivin slow with hazards, The black ZJ had severe death-wobble.. we got it back and sucked almost 2 full gallons of water out of the tire and re-seated it.. all is good now:rof:

Wow..... never even accured to me while we were at the shell station that there could be water in there. Good to hear you guys made it back home safely.

Yeah thats our bad. But dont you worry you will be seeing plenty of my ugly mug at future events.... Speaking of, whens the next one?



The couple in the powerstroke are good friends of ours, really good people. Told them about it last night at like midnight while at the bar, with them wasted, surprised they showed but was great they did.
