Well im sitting here in front of an 87 XJ...

It has a Rustys 4 1/2 lift on it... at around 40 miles an hour it starts to wobble...

Is this contributed to the support arms ? We believe installing the adjustable arms in the front will fix the problem.

anyone have any advice?

pm 19904x4 on the first page on the users list. he had the death wobbles like krazy, he replaced some stearing joints and put on tomkin ajustable lower controle arms and they went away (mostly) also get an alignment by someone thats done jeeps before, they set it to the almost exact speces it should be. :)

Check the caster/camber of the front end. Check the track bar mounts top and bottom. Check the balance of the tires. Check the allignment. Check all those in the order and youll get it.

You have to check everything on your front end when you lift your vehicle. Check your tie rod ends, track bar mounts, anything with your steering. Anything that looks or feels a tiny bit loose, replace with new. Then get an alignment.

Did you get a pitman drop arm? That helps your control arm get to the same angle as your track bar and helps eliminate that.
