Thats right folks, summer is on it's way and that means its Azusa Canyon season. It's a couple weekends off, but I'd like to start rallying up the troops now. I know Tony is in, and I'm sure Andy will be too. Normally, we pack a couple ice chests in, and have a bbq. Alcohol is a no-go, so use discretion if you bring it. It is a kid friendly environment, and it should be a good time. We always meet up at the Jack In the Box off of Azusa/210.
Where: Azusa Canyon OHV.
What: A giant mud pit that = a good time
When: Sunday, May 5th. Meeting @ JItB around 9:00a, leaving at 10a.
Who: Anyone who wants to show.
Why: Because we can
Now, last summer some fellow
members had a few lame tickets handed out, and one guy lost his rig to 5-0. The fee is $8 to get in, and make damn sure you unload your vehicle IN THE DIRT if it's not street legal. The OHV area closes at dusk, and the ranger will gladly escort you out. You WILL get popped for; uncovered lights, no fender flares, and basic common sense stuff. Just use your head.
This thread is for people who want to go. If you're just going to babble on about how "my jeep doesn't like mud" or "mud's for sissies", then go smear some more vagisil on and go watch Gilmore Girls. Azusa is as challenging as you want it to be. So, anyone interested?
