Hi All,
I've heard a rumor that there exists a all-metal replacement for the XJ plastic heater control valve. I've heard it is a Ford part.
One of the hoses to thermostat on my 1992 XJ 4.0 heater control valve simply broke off with the plastic nipple of the HCV inside it. Luck this happened in the garage. Someone find me a metal part.
I realize I could eliminate it and maybe I'll do this if I can't find a metal replacement. There are many threads on elimination of the HCV. Please stay focused in this thread on replacing the plastic HCV with a metal HCV if it exists...
