Drive shaft slop

Not sure if this is excessive back and forth on the front drive shaft.

Of as much concern is the up and down movement I get. It's hard to tell on the video, and is a bit more evident when I start pushing up with my thumb. Listen closely and you can hear it moving.

The video is about 20 seconds.

I'd appreciate some feedback. And yes, I know I need to fix my front pinion angle. My UCAs are too short. I need to tilt it upwards some.

That's not driveshaft slop, it poor carrier/pinion set-up!

Oh, well crap. That's out of my wheelhouse....

Seems like a bit much inside the differential to me too! You can do it yourself if you want to invest in the time and tools. Some slop at the transfer case is allowed, but it seems like your backlash is off just a bit ;-)
