underhood cooling

you would probobly get a lot of heat coming through on hot days too.
 
You would let engine heat into the cabin vent system but I had to look because I think you gave me an idea. Right now mine has 1/2 inch spacers under the hood hinges leaving my hood jacked up in the rear. But along the firewall where it holds the hood gasket could be cut out and maybe even trim the rear of the hood. So much water comes thru your fan and radiator in the rain I'm not sure that the water getting in would hurt much. I'd check to see that its not running directly onto a harness or somthing that looks important. Just an idea to toss around. I could not find a good spot to go thru the fenders like on the new Rovers but that is a cool design if it's functional.
