Tire Chains?

I take it you are refering to snow chains?!

Chains come in various sizes for various size tires. Generally on the packaging there will be a size chart listing the size tire the chain will fit.

Lift doesnt have anything to do with chain fitment.

Not with fitment, but certainly has to do with clearance.

You should be fine running tire chains on a stock jeep, and even on most cars.

Instead of taking the packaging's word for it, go to a reputable shop and have your chains sized to your tires.

Learn how to put them on and take them off, and be aware of what's near your chains, and always be listening for any out of the ordinary sounds with them.

Chains are a necessity sometimes here in the mountains, but you must pay attention to them when using. I know of people who've had a chain come partially apart and tear off brake lines, etc...
