ECU #s are compatibility...

The #s on the ECU I'm looking at getting read as follows...

Are these two ECUs switchable???

The first set of numbers comes back as a 99 grand and second comes back as a 90 chief 4.0 renix.

mine is the same cept where its orange there mines green... the first # is the top n the 2nd is the bottom #... a 90 cheif, should that be compatible on a 90 sport auto 4x4?

you've helped me a few times on trying to fix my jeep... I sunk mine in that pond... Would you recommend a new ECU considering I've replaced nearly everything else...

The eBay one is for a 90 Manual Transmission.
Take that back, I don't know, if you add (89)53007842 it comes back 90 limited 4.0 AT

that one there is listed as a 87-90 4.2. Its made in France....thats the problem.

mine is 4.0 made in france...
