rear cv driveshaft slip length

Hi all, I have a 2000 aw4 xj with ~ 3.5-4" of lift which i just installed an SYE and cv driveshaft which i had previously installed in a 93 ax-15 xj.

I think my cv driveshaft might be a little too long since there looks to be only around 1" of slip at ride height. I was wondering how much slip is actually needed and whether or not I should get my driveshaft shortened (again)

I do also have plans in the near future to add shackle relocations in the rear which may increase the rear lift height by ~1" if that makes a big difference at all

here are some pics of it:

i know it's hard to see, i can try and get some better pictures of it if that helps

Thanks

I think that is plenty of slip. Mine is right about the same length. From full droop to full compression the DS only travels about 1/4" or 1/2" at most.
