How do you change the text that appears under your use name?

To the right of a member's avatar, under the user name, there's a short bit of text that by default reads, " member." On the User CP page there are options to add or change the avatar or add or change a signature, but I can't figure out how to change " member" to something more witty. Step 1: think of something witty. Step 2: ?

Go to your profile, on the left click on edit your profile. In the second frame go to"Optional Information, change user title. Hope this helps.

I don't see the "edit profile" or "optional information" prompts. Am I on the right screen?

Click on the "edit your details" tab. Midway down the screen is a text block called "Custom User Title". Type in what you want, scroll to the bottom, and click save changes. Done.
