rear window regulator/worm gear

ive got a 97 xj and i need a rear driver door worm gear, however i been to a few autoparts websites and called a local business and cant seem to find the rear door parts. i can find the front door stuff, just not the rear. any idea why?

Assuming you mean the regulator? I'm not sure why you can't find one but I've got one sitting on the shelf (from a part-out). PM if you're interested.

I believe front and rear are the same......(don't quote me on that)

Kinda looking for the something but for a manual track. Window crank just spins. Can feel the worn gear

no, the regulater works, just the worm gear is broken. however, I may still be interested!

well, it would be nice to know for sure. could really be nice to be able to roll the window up before it gets too cold
