Breather Filters
Upon re doing my breathers on transfer case and differentials, I am thinking to keep dust out, to place a fuel filter on the end of each breather hose. Something like this...
http://vwparts.aircooled.net/Univers...1-261-275a.htm Is the a sound idea, or poorly conceived, ie likely to not breathe well, and thus cause a axle or shaft seal leak? Opinions? Thanks! |

Re: Breather Filters
I tried that when I installed my Tera-low kit, to much back pressure. Went with a K+N in the end.

Re: Breather Filters
Why don't you just run them all up in the engine compartment and still use the top hat breathers?

Re: Breather Filters
All I have ever run in the last 30 years is a cheap plastic inline fuel filter...if that.
