4.0 swap '00 in a '97 (help!)

Hey y'all, need help on something.

Got a '97 with a cracked head (0630 stamp) and a ton of coolant in the oil. I'd be risking it with the bottom end bearings, for sure, without doing a replacement of these, too.

Also have a '00 with a good engine. Would like to just swap the engines.

'00 has the coil pack, '97 has the dizzy. Can I simply install the dizzy, etc, in the '00 engine and drop it in?

Thanks, everyone. On a serious budget here, for sure.

Yes, the motor doesn't know what year it's going into.

Should work. Hope that 2000 motor doesn't had a bad 0331 head (jinx!). Here's a good engine swap thread, btw.

Assume the 0331 head is suspect, and replace it with a junkyard part that has been inspected. That NC4x4 engine swap posting has some major errors, and incorrect assumptions, but the basic info is any XJ/ZJ/YJ 4.0L block will interchange.
