Motorkote

Been debating about using Motorkote in the 4.0. Seems to have really good results and I was curious if anyone else is running their rig with it. Anyone find it causes problems in the long run? I already run castrol edge full synthetic with a k&n filter but the less friction the better

I question any product that uses the Falex-Timken one-armed bearing test to hype how well their product works.

Here's a good explanation of why that's a totally bogus, and easily manipulated "test".

Lots of Jeep 4.0's run for multiple hundred of thousands of miles on plain old dinosaur derived oil, what measurable benefit does this product add to oil ?

My 1999 is approaching 300,000 miles.

I have seen the video, and what I don't see is two identical engines all torn down, one run with the product added to oil and one without the product in the oil, and the wear measured to Microns.

I am also skeptical about these types of products. Only product I really like is seafoam. Hence why I came here to see if any jeepers have tried this stuff long term. I wouldn't put it in my engine without another jeepers review of it
