We sure appreciate all of you who are ordering T-shirts to help us make this effort possible. We have plenty of things to get yet, more tires, safety equipment, radios, etc, so any help is greatly appreciated. We have "Proud Supporter of Team " T-shirts avalable, both long and short sleeve, for a $40 dollar donation, which includes shipping. If you'd like a shirt or two, please go to the Team website www.teamnaxja.com/ and click on the link to place an order. We're trying to print another order of shirts on Nov 10th, so we'd appreciate getting orders by Nov 9th, though we will have shirts available after that.

Team consists of myself and co-driver Paul Sinclair in my XJ buggy, and Dave Taylor and co-driver Garry Hall in Dave's XJ buggy, plus a support crew consisting of other members.
Paul and I competed in King of the Hammers '08 and finished 7th out of 44 entries. We were in 9th place halfway through the race, then broke a driveshaft and air locker lines, and lost an hour doing repairs. After the repairs, we finished the second half of the course with the 4th fastest time, getting the fastest split time of the entire field on one of the sections. The field for '09 has been increased to 92 entries, and many new cars are being built, so the competition is going to be fierce. However, we are making improvements to the buggy to make it faster and more reliable, so we think we can be very competitive. And, we're still competing in a rig with a 4.0L that was once a full bodied XJ, against all those custom built tube chassis V8 powered buggies.
