rear wheel bearing vs axle bearing

are they one in the same? I'm confused, the parts database lists both but they're different part numbers, what's the difference? (8.25)

axle bearings are probably the carrier bearings.

carrier bearings go inside the diff near the splines

except they're not called carrier bearins and axle bearings in the parts DB I'm looking at, hence the question.
