Axle Bearing and Carrier Bearing Puller

What's the best way to get these bearings removed? Who makes a good quality puller and where can I get it for both the carrier and the axles?

Thanks,
Robert

Re: Axle Bearing and Carrier Bearing Puller

Best way is to take them to a shop.

The setup for this is a two-piece bearing puller that looks sort of like a small guillotine, and a hydraulic shop press. Some of the bearing puller plates are drilled and tapped for long studs that go to a plate which (I think) serves instead of the shop press. I've never used that setup, so don't know how effective it is.
