Cargo area storage.

I was fooling around on facebook earlier and came across this:



It's interesting enough that I saved a copy of the photo. 'Was contemplating something similar for the back of the XJ, but this is probably a better design then I had in mind. Any comments/thoughts?

Actually, it looks more like something from "the A Team" but it's still pretty cool. I was thinking of a little thicker stand off with separate compartments for tools, gear, chains, etc. 2 doors, one for gear, one for guns, with an open topped space on one side for a fire extinguisher. Probably wouldn't "hide" as well as that one would when closed though.

What about doing something like that directly under the rear seat of the XJ? Seems perfect for that. If the rig is lifted, you could cut into and seal off the driveline hump to open up the compartment more.
