anyone else had issue getting waterpump to seal?

Nice looking pump. I like the anodized
impeller. A lot of extra quality for just
a few more bucks.

update, FlowKooler from Summit showed up last night. I wasn't going to spend the extra bucks but noticed that they have a machined impeller now and for $86 buck it's wasn't that bad.

Fit and casting is notically better, lots more clearance everywhere and non of the issues from the Carquest pump.

Looks like a copy of a Hesco water pump, at a much lower price.

Just for reference.

Should be 2, one at 12 oclock and the other at 6 oclock approximately. I can get a pick off the old pump if you would like.

Exactly my thought. I asked Hesco if theirs were rebuildable and they said no. Hard to pay that much for a pump that shot when it leaks. They could find a seal and rebuild if they felt inclined.

Pics of the weep holes, they are actually 12oclock and 5 oclock roughly

Just a point of information for some of you. Have you ever bought a hose that has a plastic thread through the end of the hose that is used to hang up the hose. Well, that tiny hole can be a real hassle. You really need to trim the end of the hose back about a half inch to get rid of that hole. I ran into this some years back and I couldn't figure out why it kept dripping.
