89 I6 Idle speed

What's your typical idle speed?
Mine hunts between 500 ~700 at stop lights or even at a cold start.
When it dips it studders but catches its' self but never dies.

Just curios.

Mine idles high at 1000-1200

my 89 sometimes idles at 1000, 800, or 750.

where ever it desides to idle, it is smooth and holds solid.

after warm, my 89 idles at about 300.
I know its not right, but drives perfect, so I don't mess with it.

my 87 runs about 750-900 at warm up or in drive/reverse and about 900-1000 in park or neutral.
