Axle Question HELP !!

Im might have my hands on a XJ D44 with a super 44 kit in it. Its 33 spline axle shaft with a detroit locker. Question is this. In the future I would like to run 36" SX's, do you think the 33 splines will hold up with 36" SX's?? or should I invest into a 9" or a D60? What do you guys think?

It'll be fine. Some guys run 36's with a chrysler 8.25 27 spline with no problems. So you should be alright

i would think it would hold up fine

i've seen ppl run 36's on regular 44's

all depends on how hard you wheel

theres always a weak link somewhere, not gonna find it till you break something

I've wheeled the crap out of a stock shaft 44 w/4.56's and a detroit and 35's with no problems.

It will be fine. I know several who wheel extremely hard on 35" and stock D44 shafts.
