Hi all this is driving me crazy! well let me begin I have a 91 xj with a 5.5 lift
dana 30 up front and d44 rear. My OME shocks are toast and was trying to figure out the length. I going with 5100 bilsteins and I think 10 inchs of travel for the front is about right, the rear has got me stumped i think maybe 12 inchs of travel? I called a couple of places and they don"t know, man I feel stupid. any help for the dummy over here would be helpful. ![]() |

Re: shock help
you need to determine your extended and compressed lengths, what this generally requires is flexing out and measuring both sides. the travel can differ greatly especially if you have modified the mounts or anything.
