So,
Digging into a topic that has been somewhat covered, im looking for a sanity check.....

This thread (post 116, and 117 specifically) pretty much sums up my situation.------> https://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1015963&page=8
in short, they contradict eachother. 1 says release cable button AFTER pushing in the "conduit", and the other says to release the AFTER WOT.

I have the factory manual, and have included a video of it for clarity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiCCX3x9uVU

Seems pretty straight forward right?
LOADS of videos saying to do it 1 way, and factory manual saying to do it another way.
took me the better part of 2 months to rebuild the trans, and dont want to go thru that again. Just looking to get the adjustment right.

Anyone have any advice based on experience?

I've done it both ways but prefer the method in the FSM. If you don't hold the release button down when fully opening the throttle, it'll still pull the adjuster back out to the right position. It's just takes a more force.
