Neither rain nor snow nor sleet....
My daughter just emailed me. She sold her 87 XJ ( My former XJ, a total beater, 235 thousand miles, rust, patches on the patches, almost entirely made of spare parts) . Her comment:
"Hope the guy is happy with the Heep. He said he has a rural mail route and needed something with 4WD to get through the winter. 'It's got a bit of an oil leak?' asked the buyer. 'I like to think of it as an automatic undercoating,' I replied. 'Ayuh,' he said. " |
