My little red Duralast battery is crapping out on me and I'm wondering what the biggest battery (CCA wise) I can cram into my battery tray fairly easily is. It is a 97 XJ sport.
Duracell from Sams club is made by East penn -- Same as Deka -- they have their AGM 34-78 that is the clone for the deka intimidator -- fits right in -- Sams club puts these on sale a couple of times a year
I have a '96. I can only fit the oem size 58 battery in the tray. 2 days ago I bought a new battery. It cost $65.99 at Costco. Plus $15 core, returned when you bring old battery in. It's made by Interstate 610 CCA, 760 @32. My last 4 batteries seem to go around 42-46 months.
