Re: Battery and Cables: Fixing the Mess and Upgrading

Great thread
In your photograph heading "The first thing I did was add in a junction block for the positive cables" There is a gold stud on the left of the 100 amp fuse. Where did you find it?

Funny you should ask...

I looked, but didn't find. Theoretically it should be findable, and if anyone does figure out where to find it I hope they share.

I opted to make it. You can see here: http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1108046

Thanks for the information.
I am thinking about doing this update to my 96 to accommodate a larger output Alternator.

Napa has them as well. Prime also sells the boots for them, which are nice if you use the battery as a place to put your tools. I used the boots and it really cleans things up: http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1107554

I am in the process of upgrading my cables also but I have one question.
I have a 117 amp alternator what size AMG fuse should I use?

I sure wish you were closer. I would take you up on that deal. Your build is shaping up as a thing of beauty.
