hey guys, what is a good aftermarket performance steering gear for the XJ, I am considering one because by stock box is leaking all over the pitarm area. It actually sprays oil on full lock! steering feel is really loose as well.

I dunno if tightening the allen screw trick will work.

so if i decide not to rebuilt ,whats the aftermarket offering, i hear names like AGR and PSC. any experience with those? are they really an upgrade over OEM?

A steering gear box from a 99 dodge durango 4x4 is a direct bolt in and is supposeded to increase steering response and speed. I don't have personal experience with it but this is just what I have read. PSC is also a big name in the steering component market, but I think more for their hydraulic assist and full hydraulic steering conversion units.
