1991 Fuel Pump Ballast Help
I have a friend with a 1991 XJ and I have narrowed his starts and then dies problem to a fuel pump ballast. It runs when bypassed...now where do I find a replacement (AutoZone, Car Quest, NAPA & O'Reilly are my choices). What is the resistance if I have to find one through the illustrated parts guides.

Just bypass it with a piece of equal gauge wire.
It is only there to reduce noise from the pump.
