Beefy Dana 60 Steering options @ Ruffstuff!

Big bad-ass steering is sort of our mantra here at Ruffstuff.

We are proud to offer a wide variety of HEAVY DUTY
steering options for KINGPIN 60s!

First, we have stout high-steer arms that use a threaded
pre-load adjuster for those who are going spring-less.

These arms feature GM 1-Ton TRE taper for the tie-rod holes, and a larger reamed hole to
support the high angle drag link ends that allow your axle to travel further
without binding or exceeding the maximum angle of the DLEs.

We ALSO have arms that go over a stock spring cap for those folks wanting to keep the pre-load springs.

*Note, these are an earlier design, and come with Standard TRE Reaming in both tie-rod and drag link locations.
This of course is easily reamed out, or drilled for heim joint use.

Both styles of high-steer arms are drilled for after-market 5-stud knuckles,
however they work just fine with factory 4-stud knuckles, the 5th hole is just empty.

Now lets talk about how we can link all the moving pieces together,
We offer the same 3 different styles in both spring and springless:

1- Cross-over - in this kit you would be using factory TRE locations on the knuckles to attach the tie-rod, and it would come with one highsteer arm for the passenger side knuckle to attach the Drag link, as well as a new king pin cap on the driver side knuckle.

2- Cross-over + High-Steer - This comes with high steer arms for both knuckles, and you would connect both the drag link, and the tie-rod to them. Big benefit of moving the tie-rod up, and out of harms way (as long as you have the clearance to oil-pan and frame).

-----------------------------------------------------------
3- High-steer Y-Link - This kit attaches the tie-rod to both high-steer arms, however the drag link connects to a tapered hole on the Tie-rod itself (instead of all the way to the knuckle). This is often a benefit for narrower vehicles with link suspension, that have a shorter pan-hard bar, the shorter drag link helps with steering geometry and bump-steer.
