Bearing Cap Replacement

I have a spare D30 hp housing, but it does not have bearing caps. does anyone know if i sell this, will the new owner be able to use lp d30 bearing caps or buy new ones from elsewhere

The bearing caps are machined and fitted while installed in the housing. The caps are marked for right and left and up and down. Not a good idea to swap bearing caps from axle to axle. I'm sure it could be done with the right machining equiptment, but not by an average Jeeper.

The cups are supposed to be unique to the differential and the side and orientation.
OTOH My front D30 has the right side cup properly marked to agree with the housing and the left side that has a mark different than the housing.
I beleive it came that way from the factory.
Works OK.

If you lost the carrier bearing caps, the housing is junk in terms of reusing it. It'd be ok for parts, that's about it.
