Just bought a 99 xj on 33s with what looks to be exhaust pipe as the coil spacers has anyone ever seen something like this before?

I made some from black iron pipe and a thick washer. MADXJ page had the instructions,but that site is no longer. I cannot find the paper I printed out with the specs.....it was many years ago.
